TFF U-99

is a balanced nutritional food for patients who go through hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis which complies with the US American Society of Nephrology (ASN). An estimated of 23% to 73% of regular maintenance hemodialysis patients will have PEM (protein -energy malnutrition) due to poor diet and protein catabolism caused by dialysis and chronic inflammation. • L-Carnitine which is an amino acid that increases the cellular energy for dialysis patients. It also improves the red blood cell count and C-reactive protein marker which is an inflammatory marker to reduce cardiovascular risk in dialysis patients.
• Lactoferrin which increases the iron level in the blood as dialysis patients suffer from the loss of iron during the dialysis process.
