A-scabs Lotion 30ml

A-scabs Lotion is a treatment of scabies (body lice).

A SCABS contains active ingredient called Permethrin. It belongs to a group of medicines called pyrethoids, which are anti-parasitic agents.

How to use A SCABS:

Always use A SCABS exactly as your doctor has told you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Ensure that the skin is clean, dry and cool prior to treatment.

Adults & children: apply thoroughly to all body parts from the head to the soles of the feet, paying particular attention to all the folds and creases. Scabies rarely infects the scalp of adults, although the hairline, neck, temple and forehead may be infested in infants and elderly. Leave medication on for 8- 14 hours, and then wash off completely. Usually a 30ml bottle is sufficient for adult.

One application is generally curative. Persistent pruritus (skin itchness) may be experienced after treatment. This is rarely a sign of treatment failure and is not an indication for re-treatment. Itching usually persists for a few days or even weeks after treatment even though the mite has been killed. This is because it takes time for the allergic reaction to subside.

Ingredient: Permethrin 5% with Methyl Paraben 0.08% & Propyl Paraben 0.02% as perservatives.

Use Method: Apply lotion thoroughly to all body parts from the head to the soles of the feet and leave the medication on for 8 - 14 hours, then wash off completely. Usually, 30 ml bottle is sufficient for an adult.
