How long is the ALPRO LEAP programme?
The ALPRO LEAP programme is 18 months of contract employment. Will LEAP Associates be rotated across departments?
No. LEAP follows a Sprint Model with no department rotation, ensuring deep focus and measurable impact within one business unit. After successfully completing the 120-day assessment, Associates may indicate their preferred department for long-term development consideration.
What salary will I receive during the LEAP programme?
LEAP Associates receive a monthly salary of RM 3,500 — approximately 30% above standard graduate entry roles in Malaysia. This includes EPF, SOCSO, and EIS contributions in accordance with statutory requirements. Additional allowances are subject to performance milestones and offer terms.
What happens if I leave ALPRO LEAP before completing 18 months?
As LEAP involves a structured development investment by Alpro, early exit before completing the 18-month programme will require a compensation fee. Full terms, including the fee structure and notice period, will be clearly stated in the employment contract prior to signing.
Will I become a permanent employee after completing ALPRO LEAP?
Conversion to permanent employment upon completion of LEAP is subject to overall performance across all four phases, supervisor evaluation, and business unit requirements at the time of programme completion. There is no automatic conversion guarantee.
