Biopad Wound Dressing the sterile Self-adhesive transparent wound dressings are made of semi-permeable, waterproof polyurethane film; protect against bacterial penetration; with a highly absorbent pad which does not stick to the wound.

BIOPAD™ is a primary dressing composed of 100% native equine Type I collagen that can accelerate the closure of hard-to-heal wounds.

• Type I collagen of equine origin that keeps its native structure.
• Protects the wound bed from the outer environment, constituting a barrier against exogenous infective agents.
• Stimulates the formation of new granulation tissue, the proliferation of fibroblasts, and the deposition of new collagen fibres.
• Absorbs wound exudate and can control minor bleeding.

Peeling the dressing instruction:

Way 1: Fix one side of the dressing, then peel it towards the hand direction by 180.
Way 2: If the dressing and skin stick together and hard to peel, please use one of the adhesive tape to stick one corner of the dressing; Press the tape and peel it, so that you may peel one corner of the dressing. Then peel the dressing according to the either way of the above two ways.

Use Method: Wash hands before and after treating the wound. Gently clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin. Remove dressing from pouch. Apply the pad to the wound. Change dressing daily, or more often according to the condition of the wound.
