This soft and highly absorbent gauze can be used to clean a wound before it is dressed. Is available in sterile and non-sterile versions

Use Method: Remove from pack using aseptic technique, typically with forceps. Dampen the gauze in saline water. Clean the wound area with the dampened gauze using forceps. Recommended to clean in one direction discard. Clean the remaining areas with a clean dampened gauze using this one use and throw technique to minimise cross contaminating the area.
