Use Method: Remove the swab from the packaging. Hold with the colored ring facing upward. Bend the stick at the colored ring until it breaks. Allow iodine to flow to the opposite cotton tip. Use the moistened tip to disinfect the wound area. Wait for the area to dry, then cover with a bandage if needed. Discard after single use.
