Black elderberry (Sambucus nigra) has been used for centuries and is widely known as a potent source of antioxidants, as well as its immune supporting properties. 

Elder berries are rich in flavonoids, anthocyanins, polyphenols, pectic polysaccharides and lectins, which are responsible for its efficacy in managing common cold and flu. The major anthocyanins present in black elderberry include cyanidin 3-glucoside and cyanidin 3-sambubioside.

Black elderberry is one of the most commonly used medicinal plants in the world and it was the major ingredient in formulations used during the 1918 Spanish influenza epidemic. It has been shown in clinical studies to be effective against virus- and bacteria-induced respiratory tract infections.

Ingredient: Black Elderberry Extract Methyl Hydroxybenzoate Propyl Hydroxybenzoate

Use Method: Adults: Take 10ml 3 times daily. Children 6 to 12 years: Take 10ml once daily. Children 2 to 5 years: Take 7.5ml once daily. Can be taken before or after food. Shake well before use. Use the dosage cup provided. Best taken at first sign of cold within 48 hours of the onset of symptoms.
