According to the 2022 National Health and Morbidity Survey (NHMS), it is alarming to find that 1 in 5 children was malnutrition, and 6.0% of children were overweight.

Ministry of Health (MOH) has emphasized the urgent need for collective efforts to address this nationwide problem of malnutrition and nutrition-related non-communicable diseases. Answering MOH’s call, Alpro Pharmacy has taken the initiative to visit 20 schools’ canteen, assess the nutritional value of canteen food, and compile a menu book specially for school canteen operators and parents.

Alpro Eats menu book features 14 nutritious and easy-to-cook recipes specially designed for children. Each healthy recipe was crafted by our team of nutritionists and dietitians. The book will be distributed to schools, enabling them to incorporate these healthy recipes into their canteen menus, promoting happy and healthy growth among the children.
